Grand Scale Railroad

The live steam railroad both within parks and private clubs discovered years ago the plastic lumber makes the best “railroad tie”. Not only are they environmentally friendly but they last forever. One of the great qualities of plastic lumber is its ability to take repeated compression without deteriorating. We provided this product to a “repair” project that was built out of rough sawn timbers. Our ability to produce a true six by six to match the dimensions of the old timbers allowed the park to simply replace the worn timbers rather than completely rebuild the bridge.
