We have discovered that structurally reinforced post in a light color do not “bend” with the sun. When plastic is heated up it expands. If you heat up one side of a plastic piece that is flexible then that one side expands and “bends”. When the sun moves to the other side it bends the other direction. In the summer, we have watched a molded grade black four by four move across our asphalt lot like a jumping bean. Our structurally reinforced product stays in place when it is heated so the heat energy transfers through the whole piece and the expansion is minimized.

Horse Stalls

A friend of ours installed our product in his horse barn several years ago. To this day his horses have shown no interest in chewing the plastic lumber. Just to verify his horses' lack of interest he laid one of our 2x4's in the horse's yard and they have shown no interest in the piece. Our friend seems to be extremely impressed with his horses' lack of interest.
